We provide scalable and flexible gas engine-based LNG-to-Power solutions. We work with you to design a power generation concept tailored to your requirements. Typical decentralized power plants range from 10 MW to 50 MW, aligned with the Jenbacher engines portfolio, which covers 250 kW to 10.6 MW per unit of electrical output. We collaborate with suppliers, distributors, and other companies across the LNG value chain to provide LNG-to-Power solutions.

Flexible technology for evolving power generation requirements. Today, power generation projects often require flexibility, reliability, and a clear fuel strategy. Baseload power generation can be complemented by dispatchable power from energy sources such as LNG, biogas, biomethane, or pipeline gas. Long-term energy investments can consider a multi-fuel strategy involving natural gas today and additional fuel options over time.

Virtual pipeline LNG as a bridge to CO₂-free fuels such as hydrogen. Natural gas can support the energy transition and help reduce emissions in certain applications. Liquefied natural gas (LNG) – natural gas converted to liquid form through refrigeration to -260°F (-162°C) – is a clear, colorless, nontoxic liquid. It occupies approximately one six-hundredth of its original gas volume, which can support transport, trade, and storage efficiency. Using LNG can expand sourcing options and provide access to a broader supplier base. LNG production and transport are established practices in many markets. LNG infrastructure may support future hydrogen-based power generation, depending on the specific application and infrastructure requirements. The virtual pipeline connects the main storage facility to a power plant or industrial complex by truck, smaller feeder ship, rail, or small decentralized pipeline.
